Guangzhou's "Second Entrepreneurship": Achieving New Success and Beginning a New Era

"Lou Sang Lou Ha" is a Canton-Hong Kong-Macau (International) Youth Innovation Factory located in Nansha, Guangzhou. It provides a platform for entrepreneurs to realize their dreams. This comprehensive entrepreneurial complex brings together important platforms such as the HKUST Fok Ying Tung Research Institute, the South China Science and Technology Transfer Center, the Global Traceability Center, and the International Talent Port. These platforms have achieved remarkable results in the construction of the Greater Bay Area, helping to promote Guangzhou's deepening cooperation with Hong Kong, Macau, and the world.

The HKUST Fok Ying Tung Research Institute is an important platform for innovative technology research and development and technology transfer. Creative ideas can be realized here, thanks to the overall plan of Nansha deepening its cooperation with the world. "Lou Sang Lou Ha" is an integrated complex designed for technology entrepreneurs, providing laboratory and office spaces, as well as policy, technology, capital, and market support for entrepreneurship.

Another important platform is the South China Science and Technology Transfer Center, which brings together more than 4,000 high-end global scientific and technological talents to provide high-quality services to Greater Bay Area enterprises. This platform has guided 2,390 companies to release technology needs, resulting in 1,172 key technological achievements being transformed and realized, with a total transaction volume of over 800 million yuan, driving economic and social benefits of more than 3.6 billion yuan.

In addition, Nansha's pioneering Global Traceability Center transforms commodity information into data production materials, supporting the global efficient and orderly circulation of data elements. The center provides free access for companies to join and adopts standardized means to achieve low-cost and rapid industrial digital transformation. The center is promoting new industrial ecological operating models such as "traceability + pre-packaged vegetables," "traceability + used car exports," and "traceability + offshore trade" to create a digital engine for innovation in the Bay Area.

In terms of medical services in Nansha, the Nansha branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University is a good example. The medical laboratory here is equipped with an advanced automated testing production line, which can efficiently carry out biochemical and immune tests and issue biochemical immuno-reports within 2 hours. The sample testing mission of the Nansha branch's laboratory accounts for over 60% of the hospital's workload. It is equipped with the most comprehensive clinical laboratory logistics system and has introduced a fully automated biochemical immune production line to achieve fully automated unmanned sample testing.

The platforms and projects mentioned above are important achievements that Nansha has made in entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and digital application. These achievements reflect the important role and contribution of Nansha in the construction of the Canton-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. Nansha will continue to work hard to create more innovative entrepreneurship platforms, promote technology transfer, facilitate the circulation of data elements, and provide high-quality medical services, making greater contributions to the high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area.
